Why Choose Clownfish Games?

Why should you choose Clownfish Games as your go-to for your board games?

What Clownfish Games Stands For

Here at Clownfish Games, as a hobby board gamer myself I understand the expectations of customers in the service that they receive.

I aim to provide a competitive, well packaged and speedy service, with a focus on a personal customer service experience during communications.

Packing your orders

Your orders are always packed with care, with thought and consideration going into every box, to prevent any damages. The majority of packaging material used is from the stock that arrives as well as recycling unwanted packaging materials from local businesses. I do however, also keep a supply of boxes of appropriate sizes to pack the games into.

Your orders will also include a business card (tell your friends!) and delivery note, detailing the items supplied, upcoming games and where you can find our social media channels. There is a written prompt to remind you to leave a Trustpilot review which will drop into your emails in a few days time (check your junk folder!). Your feedback is important, as it promotes trust in Clownfish Games to others and can lead to growth of the business (more stock!). I also use your feedback to make improvements to process and the website.

At the bottom, I also hand write a thank you note as you custom is genuinely appreciated!

Social Media Channels

The Clownfish Games social media presence is beginning to grow. While Facebook is used the most, with news, photos, reels & live streams. I use Instagram to post photos of new stock. The Discord channel is a growing community with people sharing what games they are people and general board game discussions. I will also post new pre order and incoming games. Recently Clownfish has started a YouTube channel. Sarah Kate co-hosts and edits the YouTube videos for me. So far we have filmed, reviews, unboxing and how to play videos for you to freely view.

Communication

Communication is key to all when choosing to purchase a new board game. If you need to make an enquiry you can either use the chat box on the website, use the contact us page, or email info@clownfish-games.co.uk. I do try to answer you questions as fast as I can so that you are not left waiting.

There are 100,000s of games out there and as small business it's impossible to list every product out there. If there's something that isn't listed on the website please get in contact and I shall do my best to help!

If you're looking for a recommendation for yourself or maybe a gift for someone else, feel free to contact me using the methods above with a few basic questions I'm sure we can find the ideal game for you. Or even if you just want to talk about games, being an enthusiast myself I'm happy to talk about games anytime!

Pre orders

As Clownfish has grown I have put a lot of work into creating a system that suits you as customers the best. Clownfish Games will no longer take payments for pre orders until the game is within a few days of release. If the auto payment system does not go through, I will kindly send an invoice advising that the item is ready for release and requires payment to be completed before the item can be shipped.

Estimated Release Dates will be listed in the product description and I will update this information where possible to keep you informed, as they are subject to change beyond my control.

If you have ordered multiple items, the order will be held until the order is ready for complete fulfilment. If you have multiple pre orders that arrive at similar times, a bit of communication and common sense will win the day as orders can be combined for free UK postage, providing it passes the £30 mark.

The Future of Clownfish Games

In small steps and with your support, I aim to take Clownfish into a physical store location that you can visit, browse and purchase games from. I also have a vision of a play area, hosting events for you to enjoy throughout the year.

Thank you

Thank you for choosing Clownfish Games, its a privilege to able to be part of the process that gets to new games to their loving homes.
